Tim Buchman is a well established architectural photographer based in North Carolina. Buchman's architectural photography has been published in numerous journals, magazines and books including North Carolina Architecture. These images were described by NY Times Book Review critic , Thomas Hines as "remarkable" possessing a "luminous clarity." His exhibitions of fine art photography have included the Light Factory, the National Building Museum in Washington DC and other traveling group exhibitions. Buchman has a MFA in Photography from the Institute of Photography and Technology in Dayton. The flora studies were produced over a ten year period (1990 - 2000) and represent his penetrating exploration into abstraction and still life photography.
