Singaporean artist Tan Chin Chin rounded off her formal art education with a Masters in Fine Arts at the prestigious Parsons School of Design, New York.  Drawing inspiration from her environment, Chin Chin strives to challenge perspectives by juxtaposing modern elements with traditional images.

Experimenting with layered embroidered fabrics, paper cut-outs, and on occasion, patterned resin, to create 3 dimensional collages, her frequent use of Chinese motifs in her work, is a testament to her desire to remind people of their potential to change, without sacrificing their cultural roots.
